Méliuz announces acquisition of 9.01 Bitcoin with funds generated by the operation
Méliuz S.A. (B3: CASH3 | OTCQX: MLIZY) announces that it acquired 9.01 Bitcoin for approximately US$ 1.01 million (R$ 5.51 million) at an average price of US$ 112,172 per bitcoin. The purchase was made using the Company’s own funds generated by its operating business. The excess over the minimum operating cash held by the Company was fully converted into Bitcoin.
In total, the Company now holds 604.69 Bitcoin, acquired at an average price of US$ 103,323 per bitcoin.
According to Israel Salmen, founder and chairman of the company’s board of directors, this purchase is important to show the potential value generated by the operations: “The purchase was made with funds 100% originating from the core business, which once again highlights the importance of our operation – which integrates the shopping, e-commerce, and financial services experience into a product for more than 43 million users – as an important pillar in the Bitcoin purchase and accumulation strategy. We have a cash-generating business with no debt, which is growing rapidly.”
With the above purchase, we generated a Bitcoin yield of 1.43% compared to the close of 2Q25, the BTC Gain was 8.54 Bitcoin, and the BTC US$ Gain was US$ 0.96 million in 65 days.
